Hellooooooooo
I got on my flight and ended up sitting inbetween two business men. One smelled of onions and sweat and boiled eggs. I didn't know which one but I did my best to go to sleep despite being in the middle. I only got one or two hours of sleep last night and so I was super wiped out. I was glad to get off of the plane either way. I waited for a few minutes for Bob and Lysa and then was tackle hugged by Bob. We got on the bus and then the train and then we got to Bob's apartment! She made orange chicken and rice and we are watching Juno. We are probably going to crash soon. Bob works early tomorrow and Lysa and I are going to go pick up the tickets for the concert!
I'mma letchu go cause I didn't bring my computer and I'm on Bob's

You could say that I am a normal girl but that is only true in some senses. True, I am not famous or wildly experienced in anything but I am by no means normal. :P I'm sure you will see this through my posts. I won't be posting regularly but I plan to use my blog as a mixture of a journal and a place to put my poetry. Yes, I write poetry. Most people don't get to see it though so this is why people I know dont really get to see this place. I'm looking forwards to what may happen with this.

Panda should be packing...
Ello
I really should be packing right now or pumping out the outline for my informative speech but I wanted to fill you in. After school tomorrow, I am leaving for NYC! That's right! I get to go back to New York! Lysa and I get to go to a free Kpop concert and we are soooo beyond excited! I went shopping at the mall today with Yumi and got purple fishnets (to be worn tastefully of course) and bow hairclips! I managed to not buy any clothes or shoes! (quite a feat) We also got bubble tea and popcorn. :D
The outline for my informative speech is due the day I get back from NY and I won't be in class so I'm hoping to do it yet tonight so I can turn it in early. I suppose I shouldn't have gone to the mall today and done that instead but.....I had to.be irrisponsible and go spend money It was a blast. :D
I'm off to pack and do that outline if possible though so niiiight :D
Oyasumi interwebz. I'm so excited!

Chips. Healthy lunch I know.
Ello my lovelies.
A lot has happened since my last posts in July and there is a lot that I haven't told you. So I'm going to do my best and just tell it as it is. If you don't want to read the following I won't blame you. I treat my blog more like a journal than something for you guys....sorry.
The trip in July to California was to visit my grandparents. It was the last time I was going to see my grandpa before he died. That night was really hard. There wasn't really a goodbye. We just said I love you as he shuffled into the back bedroom. I cried the whole way back to the house. No one noticed.
You see, my grandpa had cancer. They said he had a few weeks. I returned to Wisconsin after the end of the trip and continued with the normal stuffs there. My parents texted me one morning before work to tell me that he would be passing in the next few days. He passed that night while I was at work. My parent's text read something like "There is an email from Grandma you will want to read. We love you." I knew what it was going to say before I read it. I managed to finish my shift. I thought I would be fine but I could tell that I was having a hard time as I finished up. I clocked out, walked outside and as soon as I got to my truck just lost it. I was just like....really? here? in your work parkinglot.... get it together! But no, there I was clinging to the truckbed sobbing my face off. I hate crying.
The rest of my time in Wisconsin was great. :) Sephre and I crammed a bunch of fun stuff into the time we had left. Photoshoots, trips to the asian market, vlogging, antique stores, goofing off, pilates, all that good stuff.
There was the usual stress of packing my stuff up and trying to organize stuff to go back home, getting ready for the wedding I was in, and worrying about the funeral/memorial service. For a while we thought that both Sephre and I would maybe be able to go together but I turned out she couldn't make it. :(
After one last trip to the asian market before I left, we packed up the truck with the extremely confusing and complicated straps (go us) and I made the 6 hour drive home leaving my sister cousin behind. I was sad to leave.
I ended up stopping a lot. I had to add the tarp to the contraption so that my stuff wouldn't get soaked and it took me two tries. The first try was probably about half and hour and the second an hour. It was deathly hot and I was glad to get back into the air-conditioned cab. After that I really didn't want to make anymore stops so I pretty much drove straight through.
Once I got home and unloaded the truck with my daddy I think I just went to bed. I was so tired. The next day I went to worship practice after attempting to unpack everything. It was just Bree, Cheese, Piggy and me but it was good.
We left for Oregon the next day. The day after we arrived was the wedding rehearsal. There were two days to just hang out and then there was the wedding. It was amazing. I would have to say my two favorite moments from that part of our trip would be when I helped my other cousin with his songwriting and the wedding reception. We went to bed soon after leaving the reception. Two hours of sleep later we were at the airport to catch our flight to California.
We arrived in Cali and got some In-n-Out burger. The wake/viewing was that evening but thankfully I didn't have to go. I am very tired of seeing dead bodies and I didn't need the closer. I stayed at my aunt and uncle's house with my cousins instead. Dinner was had and the next day was the memorial service. It was the hardest funeral I have ever been to. I had six people die last year and didn't cry for any of the funerals. Tears were shed at this one. Quite a few. Moving on though. It was good to see family again (even though I had just seen them) and I enjoyed being squished in a limo with my two cousins and the rest of my side of the family. It was their first funeral. I can't imagine.
We went home the next day and I went straight to the County fair with friends. After that I had a sleep-over at Mnonaa's house with Bob.
The next day I went to the beach with Tallkid and hung out for the rest of the day adding Bree laterish for a Target run. I eventually slept over at her house.
Since then it's been fairly busy. I have slept at my own house twice since being home from the trip. Tallkid left yesterday for school and Bob leaves today. St. still goes to college a fair distance away and Mnonaa is a fair distance as well. Everyone's busy.
I'm back to my old work here and that is going well. I got lots of hours my first week back which is good because I need the money. I got my textbooks for around $100 which was a shock and a happy one at that. I'm going to buy myself a nice new backpack. :)
I work 6-c tonight and start school on Monday. 8am class 45 minutes away! wooo
I came home this morning and tried to catch up on all of the blog posts I've missed from the people I follow. Since it started a few months ago it will take me a while. I got a load of laundry done, put away my luggage, and plan to run to Target and Khols right about now.
There's been more that's been going on than that but that is my update for you. You can email me if you really want more.
Until later interwebz

Take off
I'm tired. I close my eyes as our plane waits for it's turn on the runway. Another plane lands and we turn, lining up with the long stretch, streaked with black marks from incoming planes. We sit, waiting. The engines whine and we begin our quick, swaying journey down the designated route. I yawn as we lift into the air smoothly, feeling gravity pull me heavily into my seat. The city is so small from my window. Goodbye Minnesota. I yawn again as I settle in for our few-hour flight to California.
Long time no see
Terribly sorry it has been so long. I plan to keep up better as of now.
I've mostly working but I also took a trip to California to visit my Grandparents. I've had a lot on my mind lately. A bit to much to put here.
Oh! My birthday! Haha I almost forgot about it which doesn't happen to often. I worked, got off early, went on a walk by myself in a new dress I got, caught fireflies, named them, danced around in the dark yard like a dork, and replied to the posts on my wall. That's about it. It was a good birthday :)
Today?
Today I slept until 4pm. My body just needed the sleep I guess. I didn't go to bed late or anything.... When I got up I started a load of laundry, did a little cleaning, took a shower, wrote a bit, talked to a few friends on facebook, and texted my Daddy. My Aunt came home and I caught up with her a bit, brought some of my laundry up from the basement, and lazed around on the computer while eating dinner. I'm still doing that actually... *shrugs*
It's in the 90s outside so I don't really feel like going for a walk. (Even though I do feel like going for a walk.) You know what I mean.
I just remembered that I wrote a post on the plane to California... (I tried to sleep on the way home.)
I think I will find that notebook and post it.
Once again sorry for my absence interwebz

Shhhh I'm not awake
So I really should go to bed and sleep and such but I can't seem to feel sleepy. I leave for Wisconsin again at 8am and am scheduled to arrive at 11:11am! I like that arrival time :) I will have to fill you in on what I have been doing this weekend when I get back. I have more "free-time" there than I do here in Minnesota. and in other news I have 2,000 pageviews! Thanks!
I am back home as of yesterday :)
I landed around 4pm and my daddy picked me up :) We went home and he made his version of a chocolate cooler. (pretty much an iced mocha) It was very good. I had gotten up a little after 7am to bring Sephre to nannying and after eating breakfast there, went back to the house to pack and then go to her boyfriend's house. He drove me to the airport (Thanks!) and then I sat there for two hours until it departed. I ate some fancy trail mix and some cheese curds for lunch and then got on the plane. I arrived around an hour later and got my luggage; waited for him to come pick me up. I left for youth group around five or so and was very happy. I walked in to them singing I Will Run and just felt the joy wash over me. I missed my youth group very much. After they were done with their practice I immediately ran over and glomped Bree. Maybe a little violently but I couldn't contain my happiness. :P We ran outside and swung on the swings for a while before setting up the food table for dinner. We had hot dogs, chips, and strawberry pie. Not healthy at all but very good since I was very hungry.
After dinner everyone went down into the amphitheater for their small group time and Bree and I cleaned up dinner. I didn't miss out on much since I'm going to be back in Wisconsin when each group is doing their stuff. I had fun cleaning up with Bree. I wiped down all the tables and the grill a little and she brought most of the stuff down. Then we washed the two giant coolers for the drinks and I managed to get us a little wet with the sprayer :P
We went upstairs for the word and then she went onstage for worship. Worship was absolutely amazing and I haven't felt it that strongly in a while. It was a great night. After, Christal and I went to Perkins with a bunch of other people from youth group. I went to Bob's house after dropping Christal at her home and hung out for a bit. She slept over and we stayed up till two in the morning watching The Social Network. We didn't finish it all.
Sleep: A little less than 5 hours
Bob woke me up around 9. I am not sure why still. Dear, I needed that sleep! She was intent on getting me up though so we did. Mom made us scrambled eggs and we each got a strawberry. After finishing our movie, I brought her home (almost falling asleep on the way back) and crashed on the couch. Mom found me their and I went upstairs to take a nap. I got up at one I think not feeling any more rested than before. We ate some Kashi cereal and then went to Kohls, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Savers. I got another pair of pants for work at Savers. I thought it was funny that the only pair that fit the I tried on were Express ones and I had just been talking about that store the other day. (Yesterday?)
Anyway... We went home and I got ready for the wedding rehearsal. I realized that yes, I had packed more than one dress (thankfully) and ended up wearing a new (to me) black dress with a belt and my converse. My only color was my zipper earrings which I love. :P
I showed up to the place for the wedding and we ran through it a few times. It is going to be outside and it was super windy! I did a lot better at the song than I thought I was going to and I feel better about it now.
We then headed to the rehearsal dinner. The bride's friend and I got lost and were fifteen minutes late but it was all good. I had never been to Casper's before but from what I had they have good food. I had the Minnesota chicken as well as their house salad (which is AMAZING *cough* maybe I was just really hungry) and then strawberry shortcake.
I got home and sat down on the couch. My phone has been on low battery for a while but I'll charge it tonight. I had no energy to make an extra trip up the stairs. (Don't judge me :P ) My parents were watching an old movie. Something like love affair or something. I don't know. I sat on the couch working on this post while we watched it.
Now I'm chatting with Lysa, Tall kid, Sephre, Bob and earlier I was with St. but she got off. I really need to go to bed now that I've finished this post.
I have a headache and am already half asleep....

Feliz Navidad! Merry Christmas! How do you say it in Japanese…..hmm
As I will have said in my last blog post I am stuck in an airport and therefore have no internet so I am typing up these posts in Word to be posted later when I have access.
Christmas was much fun. I woke up and ate the Blueberry French Toast that my mom makes every year for breakfast. After cleaning up we opened our presents. I normally only get one good present and I know what it is but this year my parents had been rubbing it in my face that I didn’t know. It had been torture! I think my favorite part of Christmas is giving the presents. I’m not even kidding I love it to death.
We got on the flight we were waiting for so this post that I was writing in the airport was cut short.
Continuing on with my Christmas this year:
Not to be focusing only on what I got for Christmas but I am going to include it. I am so thankful for my gifts and happy to have them.
-New cell phone come February (from my parents)
-New boots (from my parents)
-$50 dollars (from my Grandparents) which promptly went into my concert fund
-A cool shirt and $15 gift card for Target (from my Aunt and Uncle)
-An ornament (from my two cousins)
- Fuzzy socks and Xtreme airhead candy (from Bree)
- A Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader poster and handmade purse (from Christal)
-A SHINee lanyard (from Lysa)
-A 2011 planner with pictures that are Japanese themed (from the Lawrences)
-A book about Japan (from the Lawrences)
- A book on learning Hirigana and Katakana (from Jayne)
- A Japanese Grammar book (from Jayne)
I got other gifts too but these are the main ones that come to mind.
After we opened our presents we opened our stockings. It was fun seeing my parents reacting to what they got. I got a really cute bunny ornament in my stocking. After stockings we got ready to go to Jaynes parents house to have lunch and hang out. We got there around 12:30pm or so. We ate lunch with Jaynes parents and brother. There was turkey, parsnips, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole. Mmmmm so good. The only time I have parsnips is when we have Christmas with them.
After lunch we watched Oliver Twist (the musical version) and Jayne took a nap upstairs while I just fell asleep on the couch watching the movie. After the movie was done we went upstairs and played catch phrase. There were several different teams. "kids" against adults, girls against guys, and then our families went against each other. I was on the winning team all but once if I remember right.
After we finished with the game we decided to watch another movie. Jayne and I convinced everyone to watch Father of the Bride. We hadn't seen it in a long time and I really enjoy the movie. After it was done my family and I went back home. I climbed into bed and caught up on a website I follow.
After that I went to sleep :P
Have you ever had parsnips interwebz?

No Net at the Port
I am sitting here in the airport without internet. How will I post this you ask? Well, I will just type it up before and then copy and paste it later. Today is the day after Christmas. We went to church this morning and worship was super good. I was supposed to sing but we were supposed to be flying out to CA this morning instead of afternoon. All flights are oversold so it is difficult since we fly non-rev. I almost fell asleep in the sermon even though it was a good one. I am so tired.
We came home and ate left over Christmas food and then decided to try for a flight today. We didn’t want to try one flight and then have to try to go to a different city and have our bags sent to the first city so we are only taking carry-ons. It is rather difficult to pack everything you need for three days into one backpack. That is everything and not just clothes and such. I packed about 4 books, one composition book, various stocking stuffer candy, laptop, camera, ipod, phone. Stuff like that. I wore three jackets, hoodies and the thought crossed my mind that I wish I could wear more than one pair of shoes. Yes, I am wearing some of my clothes to transport them.
We got to the airport after 3pm and sat down to wait for our first attempt at getting seats to San Francisco. We got a bit of food while we waited. I had a plain bagel and cream cheese and my parents had burgers and frys. It’s not like I’m a health nut or anything but fried food just doesn’t sound good to me right before flying.
Attempt #1 failed
We found out the location of our next flight and started heading to the concourse. We got some Caribou on the way. Mom got a sugar-free, decaff, caramel latte. Dad got a mocha and I got a caramel cooler. I had fun listening to my kpop and mouthing the words as we walked. I’m sure I looked really strange but who cares. Lol I was having fun.
We arrived at the gate and they had little posts where you can plug in your electronics! While yes, this does not provide me with internet it means I can use my computer without using up the very short battery life. Yay!
I had been working on writing more of my story at the last gate and so I sat down and typed up what I have so far. Spell checked it and formatted it how I wanted in word. Word isn’t very good for formatting compared to InDesign but it will have to do. I made the page half of a eight and a half by eleven page because that is how I imagine a page in a book. Lol At that size with the font being 10pts I have nine pages! Yay!
I am also listening to music on my computer since I didn’t bring a charger for my ipod and my computer isn’t losing battery. I am missing a lot of music from before when we had to reformat it but it is still very nice to have.
I am getting very bored so I took some pictures featuring various airport views and my domo from Taco Bell. I broke out the peach rings, and shortly after started on this post. Lucky you, you get a few excessively long blog posts. I have nothing else to do!
There are little kids laughing and it makes me smile. One looks like my cousin who is where we are going to visit. I am so excited to see them and my other family that is there.
Me thinks I am going to end this post and work on one telling you about my Christmas interwebz.

To Narnia and back again
Thursday December 9th- Friday December 10th
Went to midnight showing of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader with DLBPF. It was awesome. We were such a disruption. lol. It was a blast. We dressed up like grown up Susan and Lucy. I was Lucy and I wore my gold corseted dress with my bucklely brown belt and my black velvet cape. My hair was in a long french braid tied with a red ribbon. I was also wearing a gold and ruby necklace.
The following list probably won't make sense to many people but it contains what we did from 2am-4:30am.
We went to:
Some random place because i took a wrong turn to see Aslan
Nearbows
B-Rocks house
Narnia (we managed to fall completely into the snow and get soaking wet)
Saw deer and staples
Gotham city
Mcdonalds
Telmarine Narnia Portal
Cair paravel ruins Portal (Narnia)
Train station
Beer (don't worry there wasn't any alcohol)
Moodles DQ
Hissyfit DQ
Bobs house
Water tower
Aslan face
DLBPF DQ
Writes Frodo on Anakins windows
Desert from horse and his boy (Narnia)
Tunnel to the unknown
Australia
Id land
The taco bell (Demarios)
Creep lair HQ
My old house
Bds house
Rj3
Darth Vader's house
The woods Portal (Narnia)
As most people know... you say really strange things in the middle of the night so here are some lovely quotes for you:
Its colder in ______. We slept in the truck bed. Yeah, we just don't have thumbs anymore.
Are you eating Edmund?
No, I'm just.........Biting
DLBPF:Narnia is calling!
Me:I want banana milk.
Why are you completely soaked and shivering like a monkey?
Yes so that is our craziness for that night. Using over half a tank of gas to drive all over and have a blast while dying laughing and saying strange things. I love it.
Do you know where I can get some Banana milk interwebz?

20 Things you may or may not know about me
I thought I would make this list of 20 interesting things about me. I saw it on V. Lavenders blog "The Lavender Ninja". I really enjoyed it so I thought I would do one too. (I kind of followed her general things she talked about and/or just left some of the things that we have the same.) I hope it is interesting! If you have the time to do this on your blog, let me know! I'm excited to get to know you better too!
1. I'm mostly Dutch but born in Minnesota USA (Minnesnowta :P)
2. I absolutely love clothes and shoes and makeup and stuff like that. Funny thing that my parents told me though: When I was younger they wondered if I would ever care what I looked like or develop a style. Haha
3. I am fairly tall (5'7") but I wear heels as much as I possibly can.
4. I became intensely addicted to anime a few years ago and from there onwards progressed to korean dramas as well.
5. I was the youngest in my high-school graduating class and I was home-schooled my entire life until I started doing PSEO in high-school. (PSEO stands for post secondary education option and simply means you can take college classes in high-school for high-school and college credit)
6. I love a wide range of movies from Die Hard to She's The Man.
7. For my 20th Birthday I would love to find a forest and string lanterns from the trees, bring a bunch of blankets and pillows, lots of colorful decorations and put on a pretty dress for a picnic dinner. I have had this dream ever since I was little when I read the book (i think) called "Betsys Birthday" It is a really old book and I love it.
A picture of an idea for it

8. One of the items on my bucket list is to take a two week trip to Asia. One week in Japan and one week in South Korea.
9. Supposedly I am related to both Queen Wilhelmina and John Smith.
10. I am an only child and always wanted siblings.
11. According to a facebook quiz I am 19 but I act like I am 23.
12. My dream is to teach ESL in Japan and be an author on the side. I realize this would be incredibly difficult but I still want to. (Thus the trip to check it out and find out what it is actually like)
13. I'm a Christian: born again believer.
14. Shoes vs. purses. Definitely shoes!
15. I am pretty much a wannabe Asian. *hangs head* I am very interested in the food, fashion, language and culture. :D
16. I am on the internet everyday.
17. Bubble Tea is my weakness. If I go somewhere where I know it is there I have to buy it.
18. Trusting is hard for me but I still put a lot into my friendships and don't know what I would do without my friends to encourage me and keep me strong. (I love you guys)
19. My favorite Bible verse: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jerimiah 29:11
20. I have never been on a date. Never been kissed. Never even held hands.
