Note: This post was started quite a while ago and I forgot about it. I just finished it today.
Yesterday was a good day.
I went to church and sat with Lysa (who is also back from college for Christmas break).
The sermon was very good and kept me interested. It was about Esther and the similarities between her saving her people and Jesus saving us.  Like I said before it was very interesting. You should read the book of Esther (don't worry it isn't super long) and try to find all the similarities you can.
After  church I went with Lysas family to her house and then Lysa and I took the car and went to the Korean restaurant close by.  Neither of us had had Korean food before and since we are both very interested in the culture we really wanted to try it.  It. Was. Amazing. *dies*  There was a lot of food but even though we were really full it wasn't the painful feeling of being full.  I think that it must have been a bit healthier food to be able to not hurt even though you are stuffed.  Lysa and I both got Bulgogi. The only difference is that she got chicken Bulgogi.  So good.

After that we went to her house and picked up her brother to drop him off at their church for his play practice.  Lysa dropped me off at my house and went back to hers for their family Bible study.
I watched Despicable me with my parents and it was soooo cuuuute!! Such a good movie.  I want it. lol Anyone want to give me a minion too?

Minionnnnnnn. <3
(These pictures were taken off of the interwebz by the way. I just googled them that's all.)
After the movie I went to Lysas house and we drove to the mall. It was really fun listening to songs like Love Ya by SS501. (Yes I am now off of my self inflicted K-pop ban ^^.) We got to the mall and parked on one of the upper levels.
We went inside and headed to a few different stores including Dairy Queen for a cookie dough Blizzard for Lysa, The Tea Garden for Bubble tea for me.
Since I am picking up this post quite a bit later. (I forgot it was in my drafts) I do not remember what happened after this. I know I had a lot of fun though. lol fail at remembering to finish this post that day.

Will you be my minion interwebz?

Feliz Navidad! Merry Christmas! How do you say it in Japanese…..hmm

As I will have said in my last blog post I am stuck in an airport and therefore have no internet so I am typing up these posts in Word to be posted later when I have access.

Christmas was much fun. I woke up and ate the Blueberry French Toast that my mom makes every year for breakfast. After cleaning up we opened our presents. I normally only get one good present and I know what it is but this year my parents had been rubbing it in my face that I didn’t know. It had been torture! I think my favorite part of Christmas is giving the presents. I’m not even kidding I love it to death.

We got on the flight we were waiting for so this post that I was writing in the airport was cut short.
Continuing on with my Christmas this year:

Not to be focusing only on what I got for Christmas but I am going to include it.  I am so thankful for my gifts and happy to have them.
-New cell phone come February (from my parents)
-New boots (from my parents)
-$50 dollars (from my Grandparents) which promptly went into my concert fund
-A cool shirt and $15 gift card for Target (from my Aunt and Uncle)
-An ornament (from my two cousins)
- Fuzzy socks and Xtreme airhead candy (from Bree)
- A Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader poster and handmade purse (from Christal)
-A SHINee lanyard (from Lysa)
-A 2011 planner with pictures that are Japanese themed (from the Lawrences)
-A book about Japan (from the Lawrences)
- A book on learning Hirigana and Katakana (from Jayne)
- A Japanese Grammar book (from Jayne)

I got other gifts too but these are the main ones that come to mind.

After we opened our presents we opened our stockings.  It was fun seeing my parents reacting to what they got.  I got a really cute bunny ornament in my stocking. After stockings we got ready to go to Jaynes parents house to have lunch and hang out. We got there around 12:30pm or so. We ate lunch with Jaynes parents and brother. There was turkey, parsnips, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole. Mmmmm so good.  The only time I have parsnips is when we have Christmas with them.
After lunch we watched Oliver Twist (the musical version) and Jayne took a nap upstairs while I just fell asleep on the couch watching the movie. After the movie was done we went upstairs and played catch phrase. There were several different teams. "kids" against adults, girls against guys, and then our families went against each other. I was on the winning team all but once if I remember right.
After we finished with the game we decided to watch another movie. Jayne and I convinced everyone to watch Father of the Bride. We hadn't seen it in a long time and I really enjoy the movie.  After it was done my family and I went back home. I climbed into bed and caught up on a website I follow.
After that I went to sleep :P

Have you ever had parsnips interwebz?

No Net at the Port

I am sitting here in the airport without internet. How will I post this you ask? Well, I will just type it up before and then copy and paste it later.  Today is the day after Christmas. We went to church this morning and worship was super good.  I was supposed to sing but we were supposed to be flying out to CA this morning instead of afternoon. All flights are oversold so it is difficult since we fly non-rev.  I almost fell asleep in the sermon even though it was a good one. I am so tired.
We came home and ate left over Christmas food and then decided to try for a flight today.  We didn’t want to try one flight and then have to try to go to a different city and have our bags sent to the first city so we are only taking carry-ons. It is rather difficult to pack everything you need for three days into one backpack. That is everything and not just clothes and such.  I packed about 4 books, one composition book, various stocking stuffer candy, laptop, camera, ipod, phone. Stuff like that. I wore three jackets, hoodies and the thought crossed my mind that I wish I could wear more than one pair of shoes. Yes, I am wearing some of my clothes to transport them.
We got to the airport after 3pm and sat down to wait for our first attempt at getting seats to San Francisco.  We got a bit of food while we waited. I had a plain bagel and cream cheese and my parents had burgers and frys. It’s not like I’m a health nut or anything but fried food just doesn’t sound good to me right before flying.
Attempt #1 failed
We found out the location of our next flight and started heading to the concourse. We got some Caribou on the way. Mom got a sugar-free, decaff, caramel latte. Dad got a mocha and I got a caramel cooler. I had fun listening to my kpop and mouthing the words as we walked. I’m sure I looked really strange but who cares. Lol I was having fun.
We arrived at the gate and they had little posts where you can plug in your electronics! While yes, this does not provide me with internet it means I can use my computer without using up the very short battery life.  Yay!
I had been working on writing more of my story at the last gate and so I sat down and typed up what I have so far. Spell checked it and formatted it how I wanted in word. Word isn’t very good for formatting compared to InDesign but it will have to do. I made the page half of a eight and a half by eleven page because that is how I imagine a page in a book. Lol At that size with the font being 10pts I have nine pages! Yay!
I am also listening to music on my computer since I didn’t bring a charger for my ipod and my computer isn’t losing battery. I am missing a lot of music from before when we had to reformat it but it is still very nice to have.
I am getting very bored so I took some pictures featuring various airport views and my domo from Taco Bell. I broke out the peach rings, and shortly after started on this post.  Lucky you, you get a few excessively long blog posts. I have nothing else to do!
There are little kids laughing and it makes me smile. One looks like my cousin who is where we are going to visit. I am so excited to see them and my other family that is there.

Me thinks I am going to end this post and work on one telling you about my Christmas interwebz.

Just a filler?

So yesterday I wrote up a post to post but it is on my laptop and I am currently using my Dads laptop.  We are on vacation in CA visiting my awesome relatives. <3 Yay! Tonight we are eating a salmon dinner and making pop-corn balls.  I think we are watching Prince of Persia too. My cousin is sitting next to me *waves to awesome cousin* Hi Jessa! :P Well I'm going to go.
I should be able to post the premade post later......

The 18th

This posts purpose is to quick fill you in on what I did on the 18th of this December.

Bob is home for NYC and it is great to have her back :) I hung out with her starting in the morning and we went to Target so she could buy some clothes. We were both really tired so we ended up watching part of Did You Hear About the Morgans when we got back.  We then went and took a nap.  I didn't sleep very well but it helped a little and it was comfy just laying in the bed.
Once we got up we headed out to pick up St. at her house.  It was so good to see her.  She gave me a soap shaped like a flamingo. It was awesome.
We headed to the theater where we were meeting up with my adopted senior class. (I have been adopted into this senior class because my class doesn't actually get together with each other and this one does. I happened to go to one of their events and make friends with them. Thanks to Bob for this.)  Once everyone got there we went into the theater and took up one and half rows.  We watched Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  I still liked it since it was Narnia but it was the lowest on my list of the three movies.
After the movie we all went a little ways down the road to I.H.O.P.. I got double blueberry pancakes and Bob got double chocolate chip pancakes.  St. got french toast and the girl across from me got a huge omelette! Only St. out of the people I just listed could completely finish her meal. Both Bob and the girl across from me had to get boxes and I had two bites left on my plate.
After the meal was done we got back into my truck and went to drop off St.. I then dropped of Bob at home and went home myself.

So there it is interwebz

Life is like dancing. As long as you are confident you will do fine.

So the night before last was our church formal.  I was actually rather nervous because while at first Bree and Christal said they were going to be coming they ended up not coming.  I don't really know the other girls that went very well so I was nervous that I wouldn't have anyone to hang out with.
It turned out really fun though.  I came in the door of the first location and was immediately greeted by three girls that were already there.  They made me feel welcome and all my fears were melted away like the snow on my toes.
The formal was a progressive dinner.
First stop:
Appetizers
We had mini quiches and those deli rolls from Sams Club. lol They were so good. There was also this punch that they had made with sherbet that was really good. There were challenges at each location so the challenge for this one involved marshmallows. I saw the bags of marshmallows and my thoughts immediately went to "please don't make us eat them."  I really didn't want to have to feel sick afterwards.
We were divided into teams. Our team name was "Super Classy". We competed against teams, Great, Teeth, and The 'stache.  Our challenge? Build the best snowman out of marshmallows and whatever else you could find. Our snowman ended up being a small snowman on a marshmallow mountain.  It was awesome but we got last place.

Second Stop:
Main Course
The main course was amazing! We were served an delicious and very large chicken enchilada.  So. Good. All I can say.  So. Good.
After dinner we had Christmas trivia challenge which I think we might have won part of and then a spoons challenge which we won. Yay!

Final Stop:
Dessert
We got to the last house and just kind of hung out for a while.  There were mini cheese-cakes upstairs and marzipan too.  There was a limbo contest for our last challenge. Do you know how hard it is to limbo in a full length dress? Difficult.  I almost won (who knew) but someone shorter than me had the advantage and took the win.  I really don't mind. lol
After prizes had been handed out an awesome dance party burst out. It was great.  It got so hot in the basement we had to open a window.  We danced until the play list ended and then ran upstairs to get water.
When we came back down we had a bit more dancing and then we all kind of collapsed into the couches because we were so tired.  Some people left and then our youth pastor started a game of The Moose is Ready.  If you have every played this game you will know it gets pretty hilarious.  We played for a very long time and had great fun laughing at each other making the silliest noises and motions to be our animal.
Finally we all we tired and we went home.
The end. It was a blast. :D

I'm back

Yesterday was killer as I'm sure you can tell.  I ended up calculating that I spent a total of eleven hours at school.  The last nine hours were really miserable.  I had no food and no breaks.  I really thought I might pass out or throw up.  Healthy I know but I was bound and determined to get everything done if it killed me.  I turned everything in that I could and ended up leaving school at 8:30pm.  Ew.
I had calculated my overall grades for my classes and it was really depressing.  I'm getting Cs in at least two of my classes.  After all that hard work I still get Cs.  My teacher had told me that a few large projects of mine were fine when I showed them to her.  I turned them in and got Cs.  Lets just say that I was a little more than upset.  I cried all of the way home. Really hard. It was pathetic.  I guess it was all of that pent up stress and emotion.
My parents were at a home-group dinner and so the house was empty.  I really needed someone to be there so I called a few friends but they weren't able to pick up and texting wouldn't have done it so I ignored that option.  I called my friend Tortuga from work.  She lives a few blocks away from me and so I wondered if she was home.
She was and so we quick ran to Panda Express and I got myself a panda bowl with fried rice and orange chicken.  At this particular location they have this amazing peach tea and so I got some of that too.  It was just what I needed after only eating one meal that day.  (A bowl of chili) Mind you I wasn't starving myself I was just incredibly busy.
We headed back to Tortugas house after quick stopping and getting ice-cream and cheese-curds for her.  After an enthusiastic greeting from her dog we sat down and ate our food.  We watched CSI and a little bit of Degrassi. Yeah, Degrassi. lol  It was entertaining.
After that I went home and used our new massage bed.  I fell asleep for part of it but I was so sore.  I went upstairs and got online because Sephre had updated her status but she wasn't online so I climbed into my bed and set my alarm for 2:30am.  That is when the live stream of those bands was supposed to be on.
My alarm never went off and I missed it.  To bad.
I slept in until at least 10am and then got up and took a shower.  Dad came home and we talked for a bit and then I think I got online again.
I had the Chiropractor at 2pm so after a quick new music video screening thanks to Lysa I was off.
I came back home after the chiropractor and got ready for the formal tonight. Speaking of the formal I leave very soon so I shall have to go now.
Bob is home tonight after 4 months of not seeing her.  I get to see her after the formal. I am excited. :)

I can breath again! kind of...

I just finished my Advanced Typography final.  Our teacher is super nice and lets us take three hours for an open book test.
Unfortunately for some unknown reason I started freaking out in the middle of the test and started feeling sick.
All is well though.  I am done and I think I did fine. I am very tired though due to me staying up late last night talking to Sephre since she finally got online when i was on!  Yay.  I can't wait for her visit in January!
Can you believe it? Christmas is next week people! Next Week! *sigh* Yay
I am thinking about going home for "lunch" quick even though it is only 10:18am.  I'm hungry!
All I have left to do today:
(all I have left.... *scoff* as if it was a small matter)

Sell sheet for Photoshop
Greyscale Ad for Illustrator
Brochure for InDesign?

I told you this already didn't I........mmmmmm

I am going for lunch interwebz
Don't worry I'll be back

-Melina Rose

*yawn* Ohayoo

I'm back at school and it is completely deserted.  Perfect quiet environment to get work done.

What I have to do today:

  • Finish my Greyscale Ad for AEI
  • Take my AT Final
  • Redo my Brochure for AEP
  • Do my Sell Sheet for AP
So even though that might not sound like much it really is.  I have to start working on it now.
Gambate on your finals if you still have them!

Later Gator interwebz

So I've been a little busy...

Quick summary of the past few days.

School.

No really this has been it:

Monday
I was at school from 10am to 6pm with three 5 minute breaks and not really to much food.

Tuesday
I was at school from 8am to 4pm with one ten minute break and once again not nearly enough food. After that I went Christmas shopping with Bree and it was a very welcome break to do things I needed to anyway.

Wednesday
I was at school from 10am to 3:20pm with no breaks. Then I ran and got food and brought it back to school and stayed there from 4:30pm or so to 6pm.

Thursday (today)
I go to school at 8 and stay there until all of my school projects are done.

Plan for Friday
Get up and meet Lysa at Caribou at 3am.  Yes.  The 17th marks the day I am off of my self inflicted Kpop ban. We are going to watch a  live stream of Beast, Shinee, Suju etc. I will then either take a nap or do something productive.  2pm Chiropractor. Then I get ready for my churches winter formal!  I am going to wear a wedding dress and converse.  Win.  No really it will look good trust me. lol After that I will go hang out with Bob because she will be home!!!

Waaaa busy...

I'm back now and the world smells like chocolate chip cookies

Good evening!
Today I had to get up early because Mom was singing on our church worship team.  My dad didn't want to make her drive in the snow so we all took the same car.  We left at 8:10am.  The drive there wasn't to bad.  We did slide around a lot and we did see a SUV stuck in the opening of a side street.  There was about one and a half feet of snow around its tires.
Church was good and most of the kids for the Christmas play were able to show up and so they didn't cancel it.  It was a repeat of one that I had been in over ten years ago!  I was sitting next to one of my friends who had been in it with me and we sang almost all of the songs. It was fun. :)
After church we went out to a favorite buffet of mine.  Yum :D
We went home and i was nodding off writing the beginning of this post so I went to take a nap.  I slept until 6pm and then went downstairs to get back on the computer.
I resumed talking with Lysa and began talking with Bob.  I miss Sephre a lot.  It hasn't been that she has been gone for a long time really.  I am just so used to talking to her everyday now! Maybe she will be back online tomorrow.  Ah! she updated her status!...........but isn't online.  *is sad*
I am currently in a terrible mood.  Thinking about way to many things at once.  Relationships, timing, school, people, stuff..............
I have a headache.
We watched sound of music and ate turkey and yams with apples and cookies with milk tonight.  It was nice.

I wanted to put my fortunes from my fortune cookies up but I can't find them.... hopefully later.

Goodnight interwebz.....I wish you could give me a hug.

Snowstorm of the century

So last night (10th) the news people were saying that we are in for the storm of  the century here in Minnesota.  It is supposed to rival the one on Halloween of 1991.  Well today there was over two feet of snow on our deck.  They keep calling it a blizzard.  People are stuck everywhere and they even closed the Mall of America early.
But I'm heading to bed now!

Don't get snowed in interwebz!

To Narnia and back again

Thursday December 9th- Friday December 10th
Went to midnight showing of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader with DLBPF.  It was awesome.  We were such a disruption.  lol.  It was a blast.  We dressed up like grown up Susan and Lucy.  I was Lucy and I wore my gold corseted dress with my bucklely brown belt and my black velvet cape.  My hair was in a long french braid tied with a red ribbon.  I was also wearing a gold and ruby necklace.
The following list probably won't make sense to many people but it contains what we did from 2am-4:30am.

We went to:
Some random place because i took a wrong turn to see Aslan
Nearbows
B-Rocks house
Narnia (we managed to fall completely into the snow and get soaking wet)
Saw deer and staples
Gotham city
Mcdonalds
Telmarine Narnia Portal
Cair paravel ruins Portal (Narnia)
Train station
Beer (don't worry there wasn't any alcohol)
Moodles DQ
Hissyfit DQ
Bobs house
Water tower
Aslan face
DLBPF DQ
Writes Frodo on Anakins windows
Desert from horse and his boy (Narnia)
Tunnel to the unknown
Australia
Id land
The taco bell (Demarios)
Creep lair HQ
My old house
Bds house
Rj3
Darth Vader's house
The woods Portal (Narnia)

As most people know... you say really strange things in the middle of the night so here are some lovely quotes for you:

Its colder in ______. We slept in the truck bed. Yeah, we just don't have thumbs anymore.

Are you eating Edmund?
No, I'm just.........Biting

DLBPF:Narnia is calling!
Me:I want banana milk.

Why are you completely soaked and shivering like a monkey?

Yes so that is our craziness for that night.  Using over half a tank of gas to drive all over and have a blast while dying laughing and saying strange things.  I love it.

Do you know where I can get some Banana milk interwebz?

20 Things you may or may not know about me

I thought I would make this list of 20 interesting things about me. I saw it on V. Lavenders blog "The Lavender Ninja".  I really enjoyed it so I thought I would do one too. (I kind of followed her general things she talked about and/or just left some of the things that we have the same.) I hope it is interesting! If you have the time to do this on your blog, let me know! I'm excited to get to know you better too!

1. I'm mostly Dutch but born in Minnesota USA (Minnesnowta :P)

2. I absolutely love clothes and shoes and makeup and stuff like that.  Funny thing that my parents told me though: When I was younger they wondered if I would ever care what I looked like or develop a style. Haha

3. I am fairly tall (5'7") but I wear heels as much as I possibly can.

4. I became intensely addicted to anime a few years ago and from there onwards progressed to korean dramas as well.

5. I was the youngest in my high-school graduating class and I was home-schooled my entire life until I started doing PSEO in high-school. (PSEO stands for post secondary education option and simply means you can take college classes in high-school for high-school and college credit)

6. I love a wide range of movies from Die Hard to She's The Man.

7. For my 20th Birthday I would love to find a forest and string lanterns from the trees, bring a bunch of blankets and pillows, lots of colorful decorations and put on a pretty dress for a picnic dinner. I have had this dream ever since I was little when I read the book (i think) called "Betsys Birthday" It is a really old book and I love it.
A picture of an idea for it

8. One of the items on my bucket list is to take a two week trip to Asia.  One week in Japan and one week in South Korea.

9. Supposedly I am related to both Queen Wilhelmina and John Smith.

10. I am an only child and always wanted siblings.

11. According to a facebook quiz I am 19 but I act like I am 23.

12. My dream is to teach ESL in Japan and be an author on the side.  I realize this would be incredibly difficult but I still want to.  (Thus the trip to check it out and find out what it is actually like)

13. I'm a Christian: born again believer.

14. Shoes vs. purses. Definitely shoes!

15. I am pretty much a wannabe Asian. *hangs head*  I am very interested in the food, fashion, language and culture. :D

16. I am on the internet everyday.

17. Bubble Tea is my weakness.  If I go somewhere where I know it is there I have to buy it.

18. Trusting is hard for me but I still put a lot into my friendships and don't know what I would do without my friends to encourage me and keep me strong. (I love you guys)

19. My favorite Bible verse: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jerimiah 29:11

20. I have never been on a date. Never been kissed. Never even held hands.

だから私はようやく私の母に言った

私はそれについて話すつもりはありません。

Romans 8

Life Through the Spirit
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.  5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Present Suffering and Future Glory
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.  22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
More Than Conquerors
 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:    “For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
3738 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I need you forever...

I need you forever...
I need you forever... by MeWhoElse featuring green tops

Because I can't do it without you

Ok so as I have told you before I am incredibly behind in my classes in college.  I am trying to not let the worry overtake me and just get down to it and work on it.  I have been being very productive but I'm afraid it isn't enough.  I just found out that two of my classes are ending a week early.  Everyone is really happy.  My reaction was kind of like this....
You mean our class is ending a week early that's grea.....wait....... how am I supposed to get everything done?!?!?!?!
Anyway I don't see any possible way of me getting everything done in time so I'm going to need some help.  I am requesting some prayer from anyone who reads this. PLEASE pray that I get everything done in time and don't fail any of my classes.

Dear God,
I desperately need your help right now.  Thank you for always taking care of me.  I realize that if I do fail it will fit into your plan for me but I am quite afraid of failing and really would rather not.  So. Please give me the strength, focus, and perseverance to get all of my projects done.  Please bless me with decent grades.  Thank you so much.  You are all powerful and can do anything.  Please lend me that power. :)

Just a sigh

Just a sigh
Missing old times
Times of code names
And exploding smiles
No i'm not saying
That everything has changed
I just wish
That some things were the same

Happy December!

The snow is being blown like glitter in the wind.
A few flakes frolic wandering on their own
The sun pulls back its comforter of clouds
And even though the glitter is still flying through the air
Liquid crystal forms and falls

今日

So..... yeah.  Today.

I woke up 5 minutes before I leave for class.  Pulled on skinny jeans and an over-sized sweatshirt.  Wrapped myself in my scarf and pulled on my boots as I hoisted my backpack onto my shoulder and headed out to my truck.  It was windy and my ears were very cold even through my hood.  I set my coffee on the truck bed side and fumbled with my keys.  I turned the correct one in the lock and pulled.   Nothing happened.  I tried again.  Again nothing.  Both hands took two tries.  Doors that are frozen shut are no fun.  I turned on the truck and flipped the wipers on.  It was powdery snow so it should be fine to just brush it off.  Guess not.  The wipers just kind of twitched instead.  I brushed off the truck and tried the wipers again.  Long story short they now only work on the highest setting and they don't go back down properly so you have to time it just so to get them to stay down.
I got to school for my 8am class and it was good.  I was productive.  I worked on my newsletter quite a bit.  Went home and showered.  Dried my hair and partially straightened it.  Mostly just the two front pieces that I left out of my ponytail.  Same clothes mostly except I switched out the shirt underneath my sweatshirt for a clean one. I went downstairs and made a bowl of spaghetti-Os.  Is that even considered food?  I don't think it is... I did my devotional while eating.  I grabbed the mostly eaten box of frosty nerds on my way out the door heading back to school.
I got back early and so I started working on my Packaging for Illustrator.  I worked on it for a long time and in class and finished my rough.  I switched classrooms so I was in the one for my next class and went back to working on my newsletter.  I started on the rough for it.  So time consuming!  I have to measure the grid, gutters, margins and general layout and text!  So. Long.
I went back home and grabbed a rice ball (onigiri) and after talking to my mom for a bit headed off to youth group worship practice.  It went well.  I played piano for this practice.  We had a nice acoustic circle of death at the end and then we were done.
I headed  to taco bell for some much needed food.  Since my window is frozen shut I decided to skip the drive through and go inside.  I wasn't super sure what I was going to get but I noticed the kids meal toy board had domo toys.  It was decided.  No thought needed!  I got the kids meal and a crispy potato soft taco.  I quickly walked back to my truck and ripped open the toy!  Oh the joy!!!
It is 1:08am.  I am going to bed. I have class.  Stuff to do.
*kisses domo goodnight*
