Ello,

Today I'm meeting up with Bree to go to her school with her. Thankfully this will be prefaced by the procuring of coffee. I've never been to her school and I barely ever get any time with her without WnN being there so I'm looking forward to it.
After that I'll come back home and get ready for work. I work 4-c. Should be fun... I have stopped checking the schedule to see who I work with. I figure if it's people that don't work hard then I'll deal with it when I get there instead of giving myself a bad attitude about it ahead of time.
I need to get out of bed and get ready for the day though and then head over to Bree's.

Making my life begin

Hello bloggers,
So lately I've had quite a few thoughts rolling around in my head. Along with the stress of being sick and getting behind in school and not being able to work two of my work shifts, I've been wondering what I'm going to do with my life. So I talked with my mom this morning kind of expressing my frustrations and such and she directed me back to my beloved task of making lists.
Here is a list of general goals.

• Research becoming a Sushi Chef to see if I really want to do it
• Classes
• Where
• How much
• When
• How long
•  How much does being a sushi chef pay?
•  Where would I work?
• What kind of hours does a sushi chef work and would I be able to do that?
• What would I have to give up to be a sushi chef?
• What would I give up to be a sushi chef?
• Apply for every stinking coffee shop and restaurant around here to try to get some kind of response
• Go to bed at midnight and don't touch my computer midnight and after
• Get caught up on schoolwork
• Eat three meals a day (preferably healthy)

These probably seem incredibly basic and pathetic that I have some of these on here but, you know what, this is my life. Get over it. I'm sure trying to...
So a general overview of my goals? Pull my life together so I can do something with it, preferably starting before the internship this summer.

2. Ways I Embrace My Audience.

I haven't really thought about this topic before. I guess I just hope that people will relate to what I have to say and what is going on in my life. I really just say what I want on my blog. That is, I say what I don't mind people seeing for the most part. Some stuff you just have to keep private you know?
Everyone has studied for something at some point. Most people have worked some kind of job. Everyone has things that bug them or make them happy.
I guess the way I embrace my audience is to be myself and just talk to them like I would a friend.

Pastels& Neons, Mopeds & Semis

Hey there!

I know it's been a bit since I've posted again but that is just because I've been rather busy. When I have had the time to blog I was to tired or lazy. :P
School is running along in it's timely way. It's not quite sprinting yet but it keeps me on my toes. I had a test every day last week except for one and gave my first speech. I've been working a fair amount too.
I was driving home from school and saw a guy on a neon green moped wearing a pastel multi-colored shirt with a semi truck following closely behind. For some reason this entertained me.
I actually have to go to school now but I will try to fill you in soon!

Work Day

Happy Labor Day!

This is going to be a quick post but here it is. :)

Today I got up, caught up on the various websites I follow, and then got down to productivity.
I started cleaning my room. Now, you might think, "Oh cleaning your room! no biggie.". Not quite. By cleaning my room, I mean unpacking everything and organizing everything. I have my three paper bags marked Keep, Donate, and Trash. I moved my dresser out of my closet and into my room so that I will actually use it, and I did a load of laundry. My room currently is still a mess because it always works that way when I try to organize it. I've gotten rid of at least two bags of clothes and have one bag of trash. I feel accomplished. I leave for my seven hour shift at work in fifteen minutes and then when I get home I will be working on my room more and studying for my Japanese test that is tomorrow.
Random fact: Yesterday I organized all of my worship music.
Woo! *takes a breath* So yeah! I should grab something to eat and then head!

Long time no see

Terribly sorry it has been so long. I plan to keep up better as of now.

I've mostly working but I also took a trip to California to visit my Grandparents. I've had a lot on my mind lately. A bit to much to put here.
Oh! My birthday! Haha I almost forgot about it which doesn't happen to often. I worked, got off early, went on a walk by myself in a new dress I got, caught fireflies, named them, danced around in the dark yard like a dork, and replied to the posts on my wall. That's about it. It was a good birthday :)

Today?
Today I slept until 4pm. My body just needed the sleep I guess. I didn't go to bed late or anything.... When I got up I started a load of laundry, did a little cleaning, took a shower, wrote a bit, talked to a few friends on facebook, and texted my Daddy. My Aunt came home and I caught up with her a bit, brought some of my laundry up from the basement, and lazed around on the computer while eating dinner. I'm still doing that actually... *shrugs*
It's in the 90s outside so I don't really feel like going for a walk. (Even though I do feel like going for a walk.) You know what I mean.
I just remembered that I wrote a post on the plane to California... (I tried to sleep on the way home.)
I think I will find that notebook and post it.

Garage Saling in Illinois!

Today Sephre and my great aunt drove to Illinois to go to a giant mass of garage sales with some other family of mine. It was superbly awesome! I slept the hour drive there and thankfully it wasn't raining. Sephre and I went off to do some adventuring and found some amazing deals. I got two, antique, leather suitcases for $10, a cute shirt, bracelet and earring for $3 and a Stir Crazy popcorn maker for $3. Don't tell my mom about that last one. It's her birthday present! She has been looking for a Stir Crazy for forever! :D

I was going to tell you more but I got distracted answering over 70 notifications and their corresponding 30 emails from facebook. I decided to go through my friend list and write on all the girl's walls just trying to encourage them and make them feel special. I didn't really think about the replies.... haha. Facebook should have an anon option! lol

I have to go get ready for work now! I work 6-c to learn their closing stuff here.

Hello my dear blogging world.
As you can tell I've been rather busy and tired.

Mleh....

I worked today. It was actually rather cold outside (and inside too). There really isn't much of anything interesting that has happened today. All I did was work, stalk people on Facebook and write some tidbits. I mean, now I'm writing this but...yeah that's pretty much been it.
I'm thinking I'm going to take a nap. It gives me multiple good side effects. 1) Rest/Energy 2) Escape from thoughts 3) The two previously listed reasons! They are good enough! lol
Maybe I will read my book when I wake up...I miss reading for fun. I'm too tired right now though...

But why are you here?

I worked 10-4 today. They decided to send the girl from Minnesota to find the store and get (a very specific kind) of burger buns. Haaa.... Came home really nasty from work and took the best cold shower ever. (It is/was really hot outside) Sephre got back and we did some stuff together and started dinner. She saw that I was exhausted and commanded me to go take a nap saying that she would wake me up for dinner.

This is what I've been told:

She came in to wake me up and thought I was kidding because I wouldn't respond. She yelled, poked, jabbed, made my phone ring and finally shook me rather roughly. Nothing worked except for the last one I opened my eyes. She told me that dinner was ready and all I said was "but why are you here?" LOL At that point she decided that I really needed the sleep and just left me there until I woke up by myself.

I honestly remember none of this.

Once I woke up I had steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. For dessert, we had brownies and milk. We watched a movie about the life of Jane Austen and then Sephre and I went upstairs to work on catching up on vlog material. We have a ton to catch up but we put one together... I started my work uniform washing and it is in the dryer now.

I guess I'm feeling a little....something I don't know...I can't think of the right word to describe it. I just know that I'm missing people. It's not the "Oh I really miss people" feeling though. Ugh. Can't describe adequately.

I work later today (since it is past midnight now) and then Sephre and I are gonna hang out and do something fun. Not sure what.... lol Maybe we will go swimming? It has been storming since (now yesterday) evening and it is supposed to last through today. It has been incredibly hot every day this week. Always in the 90s. It is currently 63 degrees which is our low for today. I'm sure it will heat back up in the morning.

I'm going to sleep interwebz. Goodnight...

The Green Malt Machine

Saturday was my last day of work in MN and Tortuga and I hung out after. We got some Taco Bell and then went to her house where I talked to Tallkid on the comp for a bit and we watched Criminal minds and CSI. I went home around 3am. (Tortuga lives a few blocks from me)


Today (Sunday) I was up around 9 something. I wanted to wear my cookie monster shirt so I paired it with my black pencil skirt and heels. I grabbed a cup of coffee and headed off to church with my Daddy. Since I am leaving here so soon, I sat with Bree and Christal. Someone from the college I eventually want to go to actually was the one who gave the word/sermon today! It was good. I have notes if ya want them :P
After church, my parents took me out to eat at Red Lobster to celebrate me getting my associates degree. I'm actually the first person in my immediate family to get a degree! The biscuits were fresh and absolutely amazingly delicious. I got shrimp scampi, salmon, and snow crab legs too! Mmmm. So good. :D
After lunch we went back home. Mom sang this morning at church so we had to drop her off at church to get the car she drove. Dad blasted music on the way back with the windows down and it made me smile. I will miss my parents a lot.
I was completely wiped out so when we got home I just went upstairs and climbed into bed. I didn't sleep but I didn't do anything that required me to think or move really which was nice. I watched My Princess which is a (good so far) Korean drama that I started a while ago. After a while, my momma came into my room and asked me if I wanted to go for a walk. It was pretty windy outside but sunny so overall I think it was nice.
It was a really nice walk. We got to talk about stuff that we used to before I was constantly rushing around and stressed; what we are thinking about a lot, boys, life, lots of stuff like that. I can't say how nice that walk was. I don't think I was smiling very much but sometimes you don't need to smile for something to be good.
After we got back, I got ready to go to a friends house. My small group from church was meeting to have a delectable encounter with the green monster aka an awesome old-school malt machine. It was great and I was glad that I could see some people before I leave. I left the party around 9pm since I was zoning out and no one was really talking to me and I just was tired. I said goodbye and went home. My parents were watching a movie on tv and invited me to join them but it was already part-way into it and I didn't really feel like it.
After a bit, my mom came up and asked if I wanted to watch a dvd. I said of course and we selected Ever After with Drew Barrymore in it. The movie finished around 12am and so I drank a couple glasses of water and brought some apples and honey upstairs with me to my room. Hopped on the computer and talked to Tallkid a bit as well as Sephre. I'm excited to see her! We planned out birthday stuff and talked about pandas and tablets and gothic lolita fashion that we both desperately want to buy. She went to bed around 1am and I guess I have been writing this post since then.
I plan to pack, clean, and hang out with a few friends later today (Monday)

That is literally what my Intro to Flash teacher told us today. Yay!

That's all! I'm happy about that. :) On the other end there has been increasing pressure from multiple people about many things and it is very stressful. I'm excited to move to Wisconsin next week! I know I'm kind of setting myself up for a semi-miserable summer but I am determined to have fun with it! lol No breaks doesn't have to mean no fun right?...right? Haha.
Anyway, on the to-do list today:

• Call the college I'm transferring to this fall and see if they will let me register online

• Write my Intro to Creative Writing Final
• Eat Dinner

私の足が痛い。

Today:

I woke up at 6:30am and laid in bed taking care of my emails on my phone. I finally got up and washed my face, got dressed, did my makeup, all that good stuff. I gathered my stuff to bring to school and then went downstairs to find something to eat. I had about a quarter of a bowl of Kix and half a cup of coffee. Off to school I went, picking my soundtrack carefully to keep my attitude positive.

I arrived at school and changed to listening to the music on my earbuds instead of the stereo. No one was in the classroom yet when I came in so my usual place was more than open. I don't think anyone would be sitting there anyway. We are creatures of habit. I sat down and logged in, plugged in my two full jump-drives and got straight to work. My teacher came in eventually and I showed her what I had laid out for my  portfolio so far. She said it looked good and keep working. Class started at eight in the morning. I stayed in that classroom working on my portfolio for a few hours. I then ran (literally was speed walking) to the other end of the building to ask some questions about printing. Speed walked back and worked on changing things.
I had made a lot of progress when a strobe went off in the classroom. The siren soon followed and a voice was heard telling us to evacuate the building. I quickly dragged all of my work onto my jump-drive and a back up folder. I grabbed almost all of my stuff and stuffed it into my backpack, heading out of the building into the parking lot with the steady flow of students. It was sunny and I breathed in the fresh air as I went with a classmate to her car. I was majorly starting to freak out. What if the fire was real and it wasn't a drill? What if the computer that all of my work was on melted? There is no way that I can re-create all of that in two days. This can't be a real fire because I can't totally botch my portfolio! If this is just a drill that is so annoying. I don't have time for this! I was close to tears when they told us we could go back inside. Psh. Small heart attack no biggie. -_-
Anyway, I kept working on my portfolio. I finally unplugged the jump-drive I had bought at the bookstore and speed walked back to the graphic resource center where I print. We managed to print two whole pages of my portfolio. Out of 20. *sigh* I had to go home at 3. I went upstairs and turned on my computer, looked for my Personal Finance book to take my quiz. I couldn't find it so I just filled in random answers since it is hard enough to do with the book let alone without it. Overall I'm getting one percent short of a B. (I failed that quiz miserably.) I really need to find that book soon. After that I just kind of sat for a few minutes staring into space.
The only break I had taken in my seven hours of school-work was the fire drill. I had eaten the Kix from this morning and half of a Luna bar. A cup of coffee too but that was it. That plus the running from one end of the building to the other and the incredibly amount of stress had left me shaking. You wouldn't be able to tell looking at me or anything but I had failed to take care of myself really. I just didn't have enough time...
I ate the other half of the bar and took a half-shower. Grabbing a hunk of cheese, I got back into my truck and headed off to work.
Work was rough but not the worst it has been. I could have sworn that it was almost all new people working tonight though. My break food saved me. Amazingly enough we were done before 11pm (which is when we close) and so I was out of there by a decent time. I then came home and climbed into bed to check facebook and write this post.

• I sent in my work hours

When people don't feel like driving on roads...

This happened last week on I think Friday night after work.  Tortuga and I were sitting in the MacDonald's parking lot after going through the drive through. We had a good view of it and as we were munching, we saw two dumb things. One was much more relevant than the other but I will get to that. There are two lanes in this drive through. Both were working. A car pulled into one lane, backed up and went into the other to order. The one that I truly wanted to tell you about was this. A white SUV pulled through the drive-through and then decided he didn't want it anymore. Instead of using the road, he decided to drive over the median/divider that is currently covered in at least two feet of snow. He got stuck. We laughed. As his back tires were spinning and we were dying of laughter, we had the idea to help him. We drove over and rolled down the window to ask him if he needed any help.

"Do you need any help?"
"Uh...Do you have a tow rope?"
"No."
"Do you have a shovel?"
"No."
*pauses*
"Well I have a tow rope. Would you pull me out?"
"Sure."

I proceeded to pull my truck around so the back was towards the front of his vehicle. He hooked up the rope to the grate  of his SUV and told us to go slowly. I really didn't want to rip the grate off of his truck so, after he got back in his car, I eased the gas down. That road happened to be pure ice so I ended up going nowhere. He got out and came over to my window.

"It isn't working."
"Nope."
"Maybe I could get in your car and you could drive mine."
"Uh...No. Sorry."
"Ok well let's try again and this time give it a good tug."

Meanwhile the drive through has filled up and this guy is getting stared at like crazy. He got  back in his car and after spinning my tires on the ice a few times, I backed up and gave it a real good tug, praying to God that it wouldn't take off his grill. We managed to pull him out and he sheepishly came back over to my window.

"So, what do I owe ya?"
"Nothing. Just drive on roads."
*laughs* "Yeah, I was being a dumb@__ and thought I could make it."
"Not without four wheel drive." *laughs*
"Yeah, well thanks."
*nods*

We pulled into a different parking lot and after a bit saw him drive by. I hit the horn lightly and he pulled in next to us. He told us thanks again and that he couldn't believe that he was pulled out by two girls. He then informed us that he had gone back and driven over it again just to make sure that he could.
Dumb...... lol

So in the end we saved a guy named Gary, a call to a tow truck, and a lot of explaining.

I told my parents about my last post and they wanted to say that to my neighbors. Haha

I woke up today very late. I am so sore. Incredibly. Sore. I worked out really hard yesterday and now I can barely sit up. Work should be interesting tonight haha. I work 4-c and then I will hopefully go straight to bed after posting my daily post on my other blog. Today I failed. Already. *sigh*
(I realize that my grammar is incorrect. I want it that way :P)

My parents are out shopping and they are coming back later and we are going to all get haircuts. Now, I know you are probably thinking "Okay so what you are getting haircuts." but the fact of the matter is that I have been waiting until I have a bit more money to get one and now I don't have to! So it's kind of been a long time - Welcome to February

Sorry it has been such a long time since I posted. It isn't that I haven't been writing; actually quite the opposite. I joined a site called storywrite and have been putting my stuff up there. That, plus school, work, and various other activities have kept me very busy. I led three songs out of five this morning for worship. That was our Sunday service not Wednesday. It went well even though I woke up as a frog. Hot, mint tea with honey helped. I had worked the night before and I started feeling really sick towards the end. I drove straight to Bree's house after work and we went to bed late even though it was soon after I got there.  The night before I had stayed up until 4:30am talking on the computer. It was worth it but boy, I am still exhausted.
I went to a Superbowl party tonight. It was good even though i was the only one who showed up. I felt really bad. There was a lot of food and it was just me and my hosts. It was fun but I felt bad. They sent me home with lime chips, salsa and those little miniature hot dogs drenched in BBQ sauce.
I got home and somewhat watched the episode of Glee that my parents were watching. I was on my laptop working on a story. I am going to be in be by 1am tonight at least though so I'm going to get ready for bed and then work on it until it is time to sleep.
I have a major homework day tomorrow. I need to catch up on some things and just plain do others.

That akward moment when somone takes a picture of you through the drive-through window when you are working.

I just got home from work and am incredibly tired. I can't really feel my legs or feet except for a dull throbbing pain. Yes, I work in the fast food industry. Yesterday and today were our busiest days and they were even busier than last year. We were sold out of many many things. Being in constant motion for around five hours I found, makes you dizzy. I had a ten minute break and that was nice but it was insane, crazy, busy. I had an 8 hour shift yesterday. I was so thankful that I went to bed at a decent hour. *noms on Nachos* Good ole Taco Bell what would I do without you?
I'm still cold. It was freezing cold because the drive-through window was open most of the night. It is snowing really lightly outside. When I walked out to my truck I kind of wanted to just keep walking. It would have been nice to go on a walk. Buuuuuut..... walks in the middle of the night alone (when you are a girl) are not the best idea and I have a bedtime to stick to. 1am.
